USTDA India Energy Efficiency and Clean Energy Exchange Program Reverse Trade Mission Series

USTDA will invite a minimum of thirty-two (32) representatives from public and private entities in the Clean Energy sector in India, to visit the United States. Each delegation will include one additional delegate from either the ECP or the USTDA India representative for each of the four separate Reverse Trade Missions (RTM). Each RTM program will be conducted over a ten (10) day period. The first two RTM’s in this series (India Solar) and (India Smart Grid) were successfully conducted in June and September 2011. The third RTM (Unconventional Gas Sector) is scheduled to take place June 4th – 8th, 2012 and the fourth (Energy Efficiency) is scheduled to take place July 25th – August 4th, 2012. They will be comprised of Indian officials in the energy sectors of industrial energy efficiency; solar power generation; and shale gas.
The program will focus upon introducing the Indian delegations to U.S. federal and state energy efficiency and clean energy officials, agencies and relevant departments and to undertake site visits to U.S. commercial providers of smart grid, renewable energy and shale gas technologies. In addition, the delegations will engage with recognized, highly qualified U.S. experts in the clean/renewable energy sector to discuss “Best Practices” and “Technology, Services and Training” relevant to their national projects and requirements in India.
Each delegation will commence their visit in Washington, D.C. and then undertake site visits to U.S. Energy Efficiency and Clean Energy-related agencies, facilities in appropriate cities in New York, Colorado, Texas, Wisconsin and California as required for each specific industry sub-sector.
Participation at and/or sponsorship of a USTDA event is limited to U.S. Individuals, U.S. Firms or U.S. Consultants as defined in USTDA’s Nationality Requirements, in addition to invited guests from USTDA eligible countries. USTDA reserves the right to authorize the participation of additional individuals and firms from the event’s host country and from other eligible countries within the same geographic region. Individuals or organizations that are included in the U.S. Government’s Excluded Parties List System may not attend or sponsor overseas USTDA events. Also note that by registering for USTDA events, your contact information will be provided to USTDA and USTDA may make such information available to other interested persons upon request. In addition, please be informed that you will likely receive requests for information related to your participation in USTDA events and their outcomes via telephone, email or fax, from USTDA Evaluations, USTDA program evaluators, and others who share USTDA’s mission.
