Central America Digital Connectivity Workshop Training Program – Procurement Best Practices Workshop
The workshop will cover best practices in ICT project procurement, including the acquisition life-cycle, procurement based on best value practices, setting requirements, cost drivers and engagement with the private sector.
Participants will include representatives from relevant public sector entities in Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras, including:
Ministries of technology and innovation ■ Telecommunications regulators and operators ■ Energy ministries ■ Finance ministries ■ Transportation regulators (ports, rail, etc.) ■ Municipality and City government officials ■
The goals of the ten-part online workshop training series are to promote the expansion of telecommunications infrastructure and improve digital communication access to individuals in Central America and to familiarize the regional government and private sector representatives with the latest U.S. best practices and technologies in the ICT sector.
