The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) hosted a delegation of senior representatives from China’s clean energy sector to learn about U.S. advanced technology solutions for urban infrastructure development, including projects involving energy efficiency, clean and renewable energy, fire and safety equipment for metro design, transit-oriented-development; construction and operations. The delegation was comprised of senior officials from China’s regional development and reform commissions, metro and transit bureaus and the Academy of Science and Technology for Development of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). Many of the delegates have an engineering background as well as being at the most senior levels of management.
